Well the way I see it you can only beat the team in front of you that week. Plus 23rd isn't that bad atleast their winning! Look at what they did to them tigers this past weekend!!! not bad not bad at all

If Virginia had not slipped up against Wyoming in the opener they would be ranked. They have UConn up next, then Maryland and NC State on the road. A couple of more wins and they will definitely make the top 25.
Yeah but that's the point. The conversation on here went to nonconference schedules. My point is this: in a Conference like the ACC, a team needs a stiff nonconference schedule cuz their conference is filled with cup-cakes. In the SEC you don't need those strong nonconference games cuz in the conference games most everyone you play will be ranked.

Well in my opinion the ACC isn't "filled with cupcakes". They aren't on the SEC's level, but their a lot closer now than they were 5 years ago. 5 years from now who knows?
Layoff the Hokies they are going to Durham to play the tough ACC power Duke Blue Devils, should win probably 13-6 and move to number 6 0r 7 in the nation.
meanwhile, the Vols lose, go to .500, call for Fulmer's head and drop further and further away from the top 25
